A'pexi Exhaust Control Valve (ECV)
Here's a trick way to switch from quiet exhaust note for the daily commute, to uncorked, open-header or downpipe power on race day: the A'PEXi ECV. Simply weld a Y-shaped merge into your exhaust track, near or into the downpipe or header(s), and leave the ECV closed for exhaust gas to pass through your complete exhaust system, or open to escape prior to restriction from the catalyst or resonators, all from within the comfort of your car's cabin. Its full stainless construction ensures a lifetime of use, and its 95mm diameter will likely flow anything you've got under your hood. www.apexi-usa.com

Check out this months 2NR Model and how her blond ambition helped get into this months issue.

Interview By Carter JungBlondes, as they say, have more fun. Why? I have absolutely no idea. Is it in the pigment, or lack thereof, in the hair follicles? Does the skull absorb less heat from the sun, thereby enhancing the fun factor lobe in the brain? Who knows. Besides, I know plenty of brunettes who can wild out like the best of 'em... and, if I do say so myself, as a black-haired Asian, I have a pretty damn good time sans any golden locks. But, never having dated a blonde, let alone interviewed one, I never had the opportunity to observe - first hand -- how much more fun a blonde could really have.

Pole Position Indoor Go Kart Track - Drag Vs Drift
Pole Position Indoor Go Kart Track - Import Tuner Magazine
Find out who is better at go kart racing between drifters and drag racers in the Drag VS Drift go kart challenge.

One requires split-second reflexes and motors pushing hp to its ragged metal edges. The other, controlling what is in essence out of control, and pushing traction to its rubbery edges. There's an unspoken rivalry between the two motorsports with an inconclusive answer on who's better-until now.

2008 X Games Rally 14 - Tuner First Look

2008 X Games Rally 14 - Tuner First Look
2008 X Games Rally 14 - Extreme Sports - Import Tuner Magazine
See extreme sports athletes Dave Mirra, Travis Pastrana, Tanner Foust and more competeing behind the wheel of a rally car in the 2008 X Games Rally 14.

Equal to how "extreme" became the worn-out, clich catch-all phrase of the action sports world in the '90s - skateboarding, BMX, and Moto X, to name a few - "crossover" has become such to today's youth-marketed, do-all car market. Scale down an SUV, or up a station wagon, and you're left with one; a vehicle that does many things well, but no one thing better than most. And although - for lack of a better term - extreme athletes who eventually cross over into automotive enthusiasm do expand the horizons of what they can do, in sharp contrast to their crossover automotive counterparts, the successful ones are beginning to show the world that they can do pretty much anything better than most.

Check out the results and news of import car shows from all the the U.S. in the four one one section.

Seattle, Washington
During the '90s, Battle of the Imports was the event to attend. Hell, it was the only event. Dozens of vendors, over 500 cars competing, 10,000-plus spectators; it was the glory days of our scene. And just when you probably thought those days were long gone, 3,000 people and 300-plus cars showed up to Battle of the Imports' Seattle event late this summer. When BOTI opened the gates at 4 p.m., the flow of tuners vying for entry blocked traffic outside Pacific Raceway's main entrance, and 2NR was there to catch all of what ensued.
